My photographic practice is rooted in attentive observation and visual sensitivity. A deep connection to nature and a lifelong bond with animals shape the way I see and photograph the world.
Marina Molnár (b. 2005) is a photographer from Serbia, currently based in Budapest, where she is pursuing a BA in Photography at Budapest Metropolitan University. Drawn to both photography and the natural world from an early age, she primarily works with nature and wildlife. Her practice is rooted in careful observation and a documentary approach, while remaining open to spontaneity, atmosphere and the unpredictable character of the environments she encounters. Through her photographs, she seeks to bring people closer to wildlife, encourage a deeper awareness of the animals around us and draw attention to their presence within changing landscapes. Travel is an important part of her practice, allowing her to encounter unfamiliar environments, observe new forms of life and continually expand her visual perspective. Alongside her nature-focused work, her portfolio includes portraiture, theatre photography and projects developed during her university studies, reflecting a broader interest in people, performance and place. Her most significant project to date, Wounded Presence, examines the abandoned grounds of the Diósgyőr steelworks. The series explores the coexistence of industrial remains, vegetation, animal life and traces of human presence within a landscape shaped by both damage and renewal. Across her work, Marina is interested in revealing forms of presence that are easily overlooked and in creating photographs that encourage a more attentive way of seeing. She is open to collaborations and new projects that offer opportunities for exploration, travel and meaningful visual storytelling.
